You'll be targeting the Bay Snook, locally known as the Bocona—a fierce, fun fighter that responds well to most bass fishing techniques. If luck’s on your side, you might even hook the elusive Golden Bocona, a rare color morph and true trophy fish.
We provide rods and tackle, but feel free to bring your own gear if you prefer a personalized setup.

You’ll return to the lodge for a midday break and lunch before heading back out for more time on the water.

Just a 15-minute boat ride from the lodge, this secluded spot is a true jungle oasis—perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or simply soaking in the scenery. Whether you're diving in or just coming along for the ride, you won’t want to miss this peaceful escape. This is one of the only private-access swimming areas around.

Spend about 1.5 hours enjoying the spring before a relaxing boat ride back along the Rio Bravo. Quiet, refreshing, and completely off the beaten path.
